Night Flying Guidelines

Night Flight Judging Criteria

  • Effort

The Judging of this will consist of 20 points broken down into 3 categories

  • lighting on the blades(home made would score the full 8 points)
  • Night rope/LED’s on canopy,boom and tail etc maximum of 8points.
  • Use of External Props ( this could be in the form of Fireworks or Lasers for an example  Maximum of 4 Points.

 

  • Technical

The Judging of this will consist of 40 points broken down as follows

  • Difficulty
  • Transitions
  • New manoeuvres
  • Control (fully controlled flight – no winging it)
  • Accuracy

The Freestyle flight should be timed to be as close to 2:50-3:10

  • Crowd Appeal

The Judging of this will consist of 40 points
